Real Men Do Not Deny Real RF Risks — Peter S., Frank C., Louis S., Karl G., and Joel M.: 5G/EMF/RF Father’s Day
Drake has an apt quote: “Boys will break your heart. Real men will pick up the pieces.”
Younger readers may not remember the run on the “real men” advertising theme, including real men drink milk. The real men theme was also extended into the Good Men project.
Jeremy Glass analyzed “14 Vintage, Sexy, And Evil Cigarette Print Ads From Decades Past.” The Marlboro Man was a “real man.”
“From 1954 to 1999, had the ‘Marlboro Man,’… a tough-as-nails cowboy … brought willing men to Marlboro Country. At this point, four Marlboro men have died. And, while a 1970 Silva ad acknowledges that cigarettes are dangerous to your health, they also manage to sneak in that Silva Thins may help with weight loss. Nicotine is technically an appetite suppressant, but then there’s that whole cancer thing…”
Yes, the whole cancer thing. Jeremy Glass also noted, “The micronite filter in cigarettes, used from 1952 to 1956, contained asbestos.”

Now, wireless connectivity is supposed to make life safer, with increased access to telehealth enabled by having a 5G antenna outside a bedroom window, or using a wireless ‘smart’ watch to monitor heart rate and blood sugar. These concepts are as un-science –based as adding asbestos to cigarettes. This was similar to the “progressive” idea of adding lead to paint and gasoline, and aluminum to baking soda. Like the song “Where have all the flowers gone?” – when will we ever learn?
Nowhere is the distinction between boys and men clearer than in the manufactured “debate” about the supposed safety of wireless technologies.
Real men don’t deny that man-made, militarized, microwave radio frequencies are, literally, breaking hearts, as well as brains. And neither do real scientists, researchers, and ordinary humans questioning the harmful, irrational narratives, in the face of obvious suffering and preventable harm.
Peter Sullivan, Clear Light Ventures, The Emerging Link between Wireless and Autism
“Clear Light Ventures is a social venture founded by Peter Sullivan in 2007. The company’s mission is to improve human health and performance by removing widespread environmental health threats. Past projects have focused on toxic metals screening and supporting mercury policy in the United States and internationally. Current projects are focusing on EMF – electromagnetic field safety and awareness and environmental factors in autism. Peter’s work on detoxification and EMF have been featured in the book “Toxin Toxout: Getting Harmful Chemicals Out of Our Bodies and Our World”, the book The Out of Sync Child Grows Up: Coping with Sensory Processing Disorder in the Adolescent and Adult Years, and CNN’s Morgan Spurlock: Inside Man and Mother Jones Magazine. Peter serves on the advisory board for the International Institute for Building-Biology & Ecology and on the board of Pure Earth. He is an executive producer for the documentary film Generation Zapped (2017).”
Frank Clegg, Canadians for Safe Technology, Former Industry Insider Turned Intelligent Safety Advocate
Frank Clegg is the former president of Microsoft Canada, and now CEO of Canadians For Safe Technology. “Canadians For Safe Technology is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based coalition of parents, citizens and experts whose mission is to educate and inform Canadians and their policy makers about the dangers of the exposures to unsafe levels of radiation from technology and to work with all levels of government to create healthier communities for children and families from coast to coast.
- It is critical that all levels of Government; Acknowledge that current assumptions about the safety of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) are outdated and must be revised, Offer protection and choice for electrosensitive individuals and children who are exposed to EMR in their homes and schools.
- Health Canada must overhaul its process for updating Safety Code 6: Implement the recommendations of the House of Commons, Standing Committee on Health 2010 Report, Provide full disclosure for all information regarding all studies and documents reviewed, included and excluded; funding of all participants ,Update all analysis/guidelines to keep pace with the rapid acceleration of technology.
- Industry Canada must update CPC-2-0-03 Radiocommunication and Broadcasting Antenna Systems, Eliminate exemption guidelines and notify residents of all new cell towers or antennae planned in their community. Consultation must include all issues of concern to the public Some real authority needs to rest with local land use authorities
As technology advances and becomes a bigger part of our lives, Canadians’ exposure to electromagnetic radiation (EMR) from sources like cell phones, wi-fi, cordless phones and cell towers is growing exponentially. Unfortunately, there is no proof that EMR emissions are safe. More and more studies are emerging that suggest non-ionizing radiation is actually biologically harmful and that chronic long-term exposure can lead to cumulative damage. In addition, studies in Israel and Brazil have linked long term exposure to cell towers with an increase in cancer.”
Louis Slesin, Microwave News, Editor, Publisher, Pioneer
“For over 40 years, Microwave News has been reporting on the potential health and environmental impacts of electromagnetic fields and radiation. We are widely recognized as a fair and objective source of information on this controversial subject. Microwave News covers the entire non-ionizing electromagnetic spectrum, with emphasis on mobile phones and power lines, as well as radar and broadcast towers. In addition, we cover medical applications of different types of fields and radiation, as well as the ability of various species to navigate using the Earth’s magnetic field. The first print issue was published in January 1981. All our print issues may be downloaded from the News Center at no cost. In June 2003, Microwave News converted to a Web-based format. Microwave News is independent and is not aligned with any industry or government agency. We were originally supported through subscriptions. Today, we rely on contributions from our readers.”
In a 2007 interview with Karl Grossman – what we have known about non-ionizing radiation risks, for decades:
Dr. Louis Slesin Electromagnetic Radiation Interview with Karl Grossman (2007)
(As noted by Karl Grossman, much of what Dr. Slesin discussed is still accurate today, as policy continues to promote unregulated wireless expansion. For an update of developments since this interview with Louis Slesin in 2007, see the 10-year report by the Environmental Health Trust.)

Joel Moskowitz, Center for Family and Community Health in the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley and Electromagnetic Radiation Safety
“Dr. Moskowitz has directed the Center for Family and Community Health in the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley since 1993. He has published research on disease prevention programs and policies for almost 40 years. In 2009 he served as the senior author on a hallmark paper reviewing research on mobile phone use and tumor risk. Since then he has translated and disseminated research on the biologic and health effects of wireless radiation. His Electromagnetic Radiation Safety website, saferemr.com, has served as a resource for scientists, journalists, policy makers, and the public since 2013. The saferemr.com website has had more than 2.5 million page views.
He is an advisor to the International EMF Scientist Appeal, emfscientist.org, signed by over 240 scientists who have published more than 2,000 papers and letters in professional journals on electromagnetic fields and biology or health. In 2017 he won a lawsuit against the California Department of Public Health for suppressing its own scientists’ cell phone safety guidance for eight years. This resulted in the largest state public health department publishing cell phone health warnings.”

Tobacco Science is Not Real Science
Drake notes, “Boys will break your heart. Real men will pick up the pieces.”
Tobacco science for the wireless industry is breaking our brains, our nerves, and our own hearts.
Do we continue to invest massive resources in unsafe, insecure infrastructure, or do we not?
