Why Question 42,000 SpaceX Satellites? Lots of Reasons! 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Countdown to March 19/20th 2021 Global Protest – BLAST-OFF
This past week, we counted down the 5 days leading up to Spring Equinox Stop 5G Global Protests.
Engaged activism is mounting, worldwide, opposing the forced deployment of “5G,” and telecommunications, military, and surveillance infrastructure; including towers and antennas installed near homes, schools, hospitals, and sensitive environments.
The focus of the Spring Equinox 2021 actions, however, is the risks posed specifically by unchecked expansion into “The Commons” of Space itself.
And, despite the best efforts of governments and the mainstream media to suppress critical thought, the public is quickly discovering that there is a lot not to like about 5G and the Race for Space.

Part 1 of the 5-part series looked at the fact that “there are no trashcans or trash pick-up, and no tow trucks in space.”
Space has been likened to “the Wild West.” Economic theory states that when the cost of goods goes down, demand increases. With the development of re-usable rocket launches and smaller satellites, more groups are launching objects into space, including low earth orbit, with no effective way to address disposal or pollution, and no regulation. There are no tow trucks for disabled or out-of-service objects, increasing risks of collisions and high speed space debris. ”… debris can then disable or cause other satellites to crash into each other, creating even more debris, and this problem spirals out of control in an effect called the Kessler syndrome. And if we reach that, then essentially space is too unsafe to access.” [1] “NASA scientist Donald Kessler warned in a paper written in 1978, that every collision of man-made objects in space generates more shrapnel and debris as pieces fly apart on impact. The effect is cumulative, as new debris collides with other objects it creates even more debris. Ultimately, space will become impassable because of the continuous cascade of colliding debris, including destruction of telecommunications systems and nullifying of further space launches.”[2]
Part 2 focused on further risks of ignoring the pollution of low earth orbit.
“It is estimated that hundreds of millions of pieces of space debris float through our area of the solar system. Many are as big as trucks, while some are smaller than a fleck of paint. NASA tracks rocket boosters, spacecraft pieces, and particles and fragments caused by space crashes or explosions are the kinds of space trash whirling around Earth up to 36,000 km per hour.” [3] “Besides greenhouse gas pollution, kerosene-fueled rockets transport large amounts of black carbon, also known as soot, into the upper layers of the atmosphere. There, it remains for a long time, creating an umbrella that may add to global warming.” [4]
Part 3 considered the unacknowledged but extremely significant impact of the commoditization of space on the “Global Electrical Circuit.”
“Electricity is not only something “out there” that powers our lights and machinery, it is the force that orchestrates growth and healing and keeps us alive. The global electrical circuit flows through the earth, up to the sky in thunderstorms, through the ionosphere, and back down to earth through the atmosphere and through our bodies. The current enters our bodies through the top of our head, circulates through our acupuncture meridians, and reenters the earth through our feet. In addition to direct current, it contains 8 Hz, 14 Hz, 20 Hz, 26 Hz, and 33 Hz components. These ELF frequencies are the Schumann resonances, and are identical to the brain wave frequencies of every animal. It also contains VLF frequencies. These are generated by lightning, vary seasonally, and regulate our annual biorhythms. We pollute this circuit at our peril.” [5]
Part 4 questioned the Weaponization of Space.
“China and Russia, in particular, are developing a variety of means to exploit perceived US reliance on space-based systems and challenge the US position in space,” the Defense Intelligence Agency report said. The report is titled “Challenges to Security in Space,” and examines Russian, Chinese, Iranian and North Korean space capabilities.” “What is alarming and concerning is that the US has defined the outer space as combat territory, announcing to build a space troop, frequently conducting outer space military drills,” Hua Chunying, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told reporter.[6] And nuclear weapons? “The use of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction in space is currently banned under the Outer Space Treaty and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test Ban Treaty. But not all nuclear armed nations have ratified the latter, including the US and North Korea.” [7]

Part 5 took a deeper dive into the values and ideals and assumptions underlying battles for vertical real estate, profits, and dominance, as humans seek to own, exploit, privatize, and colonize space. This has been described as a “colossal chess game of immense consequences.” [8]
Earth’s Sky as Battlefield Eco-feminist Marti Kheel wrote, “When you are standing at the edge of a cliff, progress is walking backward.” In the article, Our Great Reckoning, by Leath Tonino, Eileen Crist noted: “I am partial to [writer and environmental activist] Wendell Berry’s definition of colonialism: destroying one place to be extravagant somewhere else. This is a straightforward description of our way of life. We are destroying large swaths of the planet to be extravagant somewhere else.” [9]

The Stop 5G International website notes:
“Up to 100,000 low earth orbit satellites, complementary earth base stations & millions more cell antennas (aka User Terminals) have been approved by the FCC. SpaceX and other companies are now deploying satellites to provide 5G wireless internet to every corner of the globe, blanketing the entire planet in wireless radiation with potentially devastating consequences to all of life.
Environmental dangers abound. They include:
- depletion of the ozone layer
- cyberattacks costing $ trillions
- pollution from rocket launches (exhaust gases, black carbon, alumina, toxic chemicals)
- space debris & collisions – Kessler Effect
- vast increase in energy consumption
- climate impacts from manufacturing & disposal of all connected “things” & infrastructure
- interference with the global electrical circuit
- potential disruption to satellites & connected IoT networks from solar flares
- effects on navigation & survival of wildlife” [10]
For the Military Industrial Political Complex: Back to Whack-A-Mole
As questions concerning the rushed, aggressive, un-monitored, and unexamined roll-out of 5G continue to mount, several strategies by nation-states and the pro-industry media are in play. One is dismissive ridicule and marginalization; another is to portray activists as extremists, arsonists and national security threats (without substantiation).
Increasingly repressive governmental actions are cause for alarm, ranging from efforts in the U.S. to criminalize “domestic terrorism,” to threats to shoot protesters in South Africa with rubber bullets, to UK efforts to stop protest gatherings.
What has not been provided is transparency, community participation, and science supporting claims of health and environmental safety for 5G and satellites providing Wi-Fi from space.
Censorship is also on the rise. One of the most recent targets is former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Catherine Austin Fitts, of the Solari Report. She has been questioning the missing trillions of dollars from the U.S. treasury, noting, in particular, a lack of supporting documentation and audit trail for DOD expenditures. “Instead of funding nursing homes and pension funds,” did missing trillions go to covert military, economic, and space operations? Is a centralized control structure based on a new monetary surveillance system being implemented behind the scenes?
Despite efforts by the political and military-industrial complex to control the narrative, there are indications that the wheels are coming off the bus. Environmental groups that unquestionably supported the (wireless) smart grid, despite reports of injury and harm, have begun to pause. The Natural Resources Defense Council, in fact, submitted an Amicus Brief in the lawsuit brought against the FCC for failure to update its radio frequency exposure limits. [11]
The California Green Party has issued a “Statement on 5G Wireless Technology Environmental Oversight”. [12]
Citizens who have come to question draconian decisions are recognizing that the surveillance and behavioral control risks associated with wireless technologies cannot be ignored. Rallies are being held worldwide to oppose government overreach on multiple fronts; 5G satellite and space concerns have been included in many countries.

History tells us that Native American cultures were decimated by the introduction of alcohol, small pox, venereal diseases, the use of gun powder, and exploitative trade practices, by dominator cultures seeking to take ownership of geographic space and resources.
(The telecom, political, military, and engineering community sometimes refers to experiments, pilot programs, or forcefully imposed changes in the environment, as “the sandbox.” In this view, the earth is an inanimate sandbox. And, biological and environmental stressors are irrelevant in pursuit of engineering measurements, coverage, speed of transmission, earnings, military defense and offense, and dominance benchmarks. Like dual-use technology, the drawing also conveys the possibility for harmonious rather than competitive strategies for earth and space stewardship.)
The Canaries
The imposition of artificial microwave radiofrequencies is not tolerated by an un-quantified portion of the population, across all age groups. So-called “sensitive” individuals seemingly possess a more refined sensory system, and/or ability to recognize unnatural unhealthy modifications to the autonomic nervous system caused by environmental RF exposures. They are the canaries in the coalmine.
These individuals are a liability for those who operate covertly and without informed consent (perhaps seeking to entrain communities)? [13] Dismissing physical ailments as imaginary psychological illness (tin foil hats and “nocebos”), especially for women, has a sordid history. Special interests have been successful in labeling concern, criticism and negative feedback as propaganda. They are using the media, politicians, pandemic response, the digital divide, and environmental concern to progress the wireless agenda. Consumers have not been given the opportunity to consider the cost-benefit of wired vs. wireless applications, and to discern between the advantages of hard-wired connectivity, which is safer, faster, and more secure, vs wireless dual-use applications that enable widespread surveillance. This is a form of brain-washing.
The scale of human suffering and planetary risk posed by telecom/surveillance/military expansionism is either something to be heeded, or ignored by consumers and decision-makers choosing blinders.
“Ultimately, each individual must “wage battle” within themselves concerning the resource consumption, human rights abuses, property rights violations, and environmental footprint, to support the presumed entitlement for faster, more ubiquitous wireless connectivity…. whether from earth or from space.”

Patricia Burke spent part of her childhood is Southeast Asia. Her understanding of microwave injury is heavily influenced by Eastern culture. [13] When wireless smart utility meters were installed in California and in Maine, a portion of the population immediately experienced adverse health effects, some disabling. In the case of early smart meter deployments, it was possible for physicians who had been monitoring their patients over time to note the correlation between the increased RF exposure and symptom onset. New juxtapositions of frequency are not disclosed to communities, and seemingly gradually introduced over time. Thus, the industry and its regulators have adopted less transparent, increasingly covert methods of altering the natural electromagnetic environment, and potentially entraining the population. It appears that those injured are collateral damage. Reports of harm have not been investigated by independent, non-industry researchers and have not informed public health policy.
