Hillary Had to Apologize for Guatemala Syphilis Experiments: Tuskegee and Eugenics, Thousands Given Diseases
(Era of Wisdom) In 2010, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton issued a disingenuous apology to Guatemala after the prolific discovery that over a thousand Guatemalan people were given diseases and experimented on, by the same U.S. researchers who performed the infamous Tuskegee Syphilis Experiments on African Americans under the false philanthropic guise of free medical treatment.
Medical historian Susan M. Reverby made such a prolific discovery of documents, Hillary Clinton was forced to issue an apology.
Well documented at Today I Found Out:
“Researchers led by Dr. John Charles Cutler from the United States (funded by the Public Health Services, the Pan American Health Sanitary Bureau, and the National Institutes of Health) headed to Guatemala in 1946 and found prostitutes who had syphilis, getting them to then give it to unsuspecting Guatemalan soldiers, mental health patients, and prisoners.
They also directly infected certain individuals by “…direct inoculations made from syphilis bacteria poured into the men’s penises and on forearms and faces that were slightly abraded … or in a few cases through spinal punctures.” It isn’t known how many people died as a result of this as the results from the study were never published.

Dr. John Cutler was also involved in the above Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment. He faced no consequences for the numerous people that died in his experiments, and he even lead an illustrious and celebrated career including at one point becoming an assistant to the U.S. Surgeon General.”
John Cutler’s wife Eliese S. Cutler was on the board of eugenic Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania, and well documented by this blog:
“Eliese and her husband John both contributed to Pathfinder Internationaland the Population Council and NOTE: Frederic Osborn was a founding member of the American Eugenics Society and co-founder of thePopulation Council along with John D. Rockefeller. In 1969, the Population Council’s President, Bernard Berelson, published an article suggesting that if voluntary methods of birth control were not successful, it may become necessary for the government to put a “fertility control agent” in the water supplies of “urban” neighborhoods.”
Clinton’s apology was clearly disingenuous as she received an awardnamed after Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, and she said she “admired her vision,” which was a racist, eugenic vision as Margaret Sanger was deeply tied to not only eugenics but the researchers at Tuskegee giving people diseases as well. Hillary Clinton has strong ties to Planned Parenthood and must have been aware of the Guatemalan experiment.
Well documented by Live Action:
“Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, was one of Dr. Cutler’s contemporaries and also a member of good standing in the American Eugenics Society. Driven with the same fervor to reduce these “unwanted” populations, Sanger went further that Dr. Cutler in her Birth Control Review, saying, ‘While I personally believe in the sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic, I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to the constantly growing stream of the unfit… Eugenics without Birth Control seems to us a house builded upon the sands.’”
The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiments, which we now know also happened in Guatemala, lasted for 40 entire years from 1932- 1972, and points discussed in the movie “Vaxxed” raise questions as to exactly what the Tuskegee researchers were trying to discover about racial susceptibilities to disease.
This Era of Wisdom video explores the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiments, their extension into Guatemala, and the eugenic roots of researchers in the experiments.
