Leading CA Cannabis Oil Dispensary Raided Due to Legal Gray Area: CBD Specifically
(Era of Wisdom) Police and DEA agents raided a Northern California dispensary that specialized in medicinal CBD oil on June 15th, detaining 9 and arresting 1 on “suspicion of felony drug manufacture for his role in cannabis oil production,” according to Alternet.
The article from Alternet continues:
“The operation raided was Care By Design (CBD Guild), which produces CBD-rich cannabis oils for use in sprays, gels, and cannabis oil cartridges for vaporizers. The company offers products with five different ratios of CBD to THC so ‘patients can adjust their cannabis medicine to suit their specific conditions and personal preferences.’”
In defense of our natural right to use cannabis oil, let’s take a look at the warranted opposition to this act of coercion from the state.

Luckily a massive backlash is successfully remedying the situation: they are already back in operation.
Arbitrary issues such as “using illegal and hazardous production methods—producing the oil with the use of butane, which is a fire and explosion hazard, and which is forbidden under state law,” were cited by authorities as the reason for the raid.
One can think of dozens of examples where large corporate powers did greater damage to entire populations with their waste products and malpractice.
Incidents like this can’t be ignored if we want to have rights: furthermore, why was a dispensary specializing in the more medicinal CBD oil raided?
