Parents Recall Giving Amphetamine to Their 3-Yr-Old Children (Adderall): Legal to Prescribe
These are the words of American parents, convinced by the medical establishment that amphetamine is safe for three-year-old children.
They share stories of dosing their toddlers with amphetamine (Adderall), wondering why their child is experiencing strange symptoms. Not one of the parents suggests that it’s unthinkable to give amphetamine to a toddler.
The comments perfectly encapsulate this culture of pharmaceutical deception: the psychology of the parent coerced into giving these drugs to toddlers, trusting that it’s safe with no evidence to verify it but the word of a medical authority figure. A million observations can be made about the construction of this culture through looking at these comments.

You can visit the first thread at this link, and another one here, on a site called ADD Forum. It’s unfortunate, far beyond sad to see these people make decisions to give pharmaceutical drugs to their children without knowing almost anything of what they actually do to them, and the good intent of the horribly misguided people should be recognized, too, as futile it is to defend their children from the parents’ own bad decisions.
