“It Should Be Illegal to Be a Stay at Home Mom” – Mainstream Media
By Cassius Kamarampi
(Era of Wisdom) A well known Australian journalist recently had the audacity to say it should be illegal to be a stay at home mother. The headline reads: “Sarrah Le Marquand: It should be illegal to be a stay-at-home mum.”
Her article starts off emphasizing the authority of “data or analysis,” saying:
“It’s the topic of stay-at-home mums. More specifically, the release of any data or analysis that dares recommend Australian women should get out of the living room/kitchen/nursery and back into the workforce.
So the outcry has been predictable in the wake of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) recent report which had the audacity to suggest stay-at-home mums would be better off putting their skills to use in paid employment.
“One of the areas of greatest untapped potential in the Australian labour force is inactive and/or part-time working women, especially those with children,’’ concluded the landmark study. “There are potentially large losses to the economy when women stay at home or work short part-time hours.’’”

Free human beings are not subject to join any “work force” or make some contribution to the wealthy class’ system.
We’re not subject to listen to anyone’s data or analysis on what they think we should do.
Making “being a stay at home mom illegal” would constitute slavery.
“The economy” is not our responsibility. We owe it nothing if we are free. Besides, this “economy” is a system of fiat currency backed by nothing: fractional reserve banking, money printed out of nothing, debt.
We’d be wise to get as far away from this system as possible, work for ourselves, trade among each other and never buy food from a corporation, and to get off centralized currency.
The author sounds like she is falling for this idea that everyone should be part of the “work force” and make a contribution to the economy. She says men and women should essentially suffer equally, slaving away for dollars at a job, and mothers should focus on that over parenthood. Her article continues:
“Only when the female half of the population is expected to hold down a job and earn money to pay the bills in the same way that men are routinely expected to do will we see things change for the better for either gender.
Only when it becomes the norm for all families to have both parents in paid employment, and sharing the stress of the work-home juggle, will we finally have a serious conversation about how to achieve a more balanced modern workplace.”
“Expected to hold down a job?” Why does anyone have to expect anything so specific and demanding from fellow people? Can’t people just do what they want?
Sarrah is deep into the mainstream media of Australia. As you probably know, the mainstream media is influenced by corporations and government (from the US to Australia and around the world): they set agendas and participate in social engineering.
One has to wonder if an outside influence aided in the creation of her article.
According to an ABC bio on Sarrah Le Marquand:
“Having worked as an entertainment journalist in several magazines and on television, she joined The Daily Telegraph in 2005 as the television writer, and went on to assume various incarnations as film editor, columnist and features chief of staff. In 2008 she was appointed features editor.”
Her brother is Australian actor Steve Le Marquand.
But she has children… so how can she think mothers should have even less of a role in children’s lives (as public school already does damage)? Is she content to allow other people to raise her own?
Speaking from firsthand observation, Australia has a cultural problem with government: this compulsion to rigidly control other people is present in Australian culture, and they of course inherited it from Britain.
Any slight move in the direction of more state control over mothers or children is something free people should persistently and vehemently oppose.
We should be moving in the total opposite direction: home schooling and detaching from the system, working for ourselves instead of for corporations that don’t benefit any of us.
As she pleads for more pressure on mothers to contribute to the “economy” over parenting, legislation is being introduced from the US to Australia to erode the rights of the mother and seize children from parents.
SB18 is a California bill introduced by notorious Senator Richard Pan, that would give the state unprecedented ability to seize children from parents, for refusing vaccination or a certain medical treatment especially.
According to Learn the Risk:
“This bill would strip away parental rights and hand over control to the State concerning medical care, dental and vision care, schooling, the home environment, religious instruction, and many other possibilities. The bill is written so vague that it could be widely applied and enforced in any manner the State sees fit. These parental “rules” would be enforced through fear of the child being taken away, destroying families and breaking down the last barrier of protection for children.”
According to the text of the bill:
“(a) The Legislature finds and declares that all children and youth, regardless of gender, class, race, ethnicity, national origin, culture, religion, immigration status, sexual orientation, or ability, have inherent rights that entitle them to protection, special care, and assistance, including, but not limited to, the following:
(1) The right to parents, guardians, or caregivers who act in their best interest.
(2) The right to form healthy attachments with adults responsible for their care and well-being.
(3) The right to live in a safe and healthy environment.
(4) The right to social and emotional well-being.
(5) The right to opportunities to attain optimal cognitive, physical, and social development.
(6) The right to appropriate, quality education and life skills leading to self-sufficiency in adulthood.
(7) The right to appropriate, quality health care.”
Any time in history the government has been given the ability to steal children from parents, or even be a factor in parenting, disaster has resulted.
For historical perspective, the “Stolen Generations” in Australia were Aborigines children who were seized from families, and put in the state’s custody (violently ripped from families to raise them like slaves).
They were subject to basically every abuse imaginable. According to Creative Spirits, “the horrific abuse they suffered in institutions and foster families left thousands traumatised for life.”
Australia has a dark history when it comes to the state stealing children from parents. The “white stolen generation” is a name given to children stolen from parents by the state from around the 1930’s- 80’s.
According to Creative Spirits:
“Did you know that in Australia there is another stolen generation, one which shares the pain and consequences? It’s called the “white stolen generation” to distinguish it from the Aboriginal stolen generation.
In the five decades up to 1982, the newborn babies of young, single women were forcibly removed from them for adoption, a practice sometimes called ‘baby farming’. Mothers were drugged, tethered to beds, not allowed to see their babies, told they were dead. [47] Many of these adoptions occurred after the mothers were sent away by their families due to the stigma associated with being pregnant and unmarried.
More than 250,000 white mothers lost their babies to forcible removal at birth by these past illegal adoption practices. Groups such as Adoption Loss Adult Support and Apology Alliance offer help and support.
Between 2010 and 2012 apologies were offered by Western Australia, South Australia, ACT, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Prime Minister Julia Gillard offered a national apology to those affected by forced adoptions in 2013.”
Even worse, children are constantly being abused in foster care, and some die. One child died in foster care after being seized for her parents’ harmless cannabis use.
In conclusion, parents simply have a right to raise their children.
If the state forcefully takes children, we are enslaved. It’s only going to get worse until we fight for what should be our natural rights, and do the complete and total opposite of what Sarrah Le Marquand wants us to do.
