If you could make giant batches of rice for your week’s meals without babysitting the pot or buying an expensive rice cooker – would you do it? Of course! It makes life so much easier, so here we go…

I didn’t just follow their advice, however – I followed the advice of one of their commenters.
In just 2 1/2 hours with easy-to-remember instructions, I had a giant batch of perfect, fluffy Jasmine rice with the texture and consistency of Asian cuisine. It made tons of lunches and dinners for the week.

Basically, one of the commenters doubled the recipe and rinsed the rice before adding it to the Crockpot. And that’s what I followed to get the rice in the featured photo.

I forgot to rinse the rice so I added an extra “sploosh” of water. In 2 hrs and 35 minutes I got the volume you see in my picture . I have this 6QT Hamilton Grab-n-Go Slow Cooker and the recipe above made enough for at least 6 generous meals.
