Can We Trust Government Agencies to Tell the Truth?
What an overbearing question to ask!
But increasingly, it’s becoming necessary to question the media and, in particular, federal agencies. Whatever public relations spin both offer usually are prefaced with such hollow intentions as helping citizens or saving us money. When will we wake up?
Recently, some documentation came to the forefront that ought to have readers not only concerned, but downright angry, especially if you live on the West Coast of the USA, and Southern California, in particular.
EnergyNews published some particularly disturbing information about a nuclear reactor being deliberately blown up as a massive human radiation experiment on the public—can you imagine that?
In August of 1994, The New York Times published the article “U.S. Nuclear Accident in 1965 Was Staged, Documents Show.”
In 1995, the U.S. Dept. of Energy released a 731-page pdf file (originally written in 1968) in which the Abstract states:
The Kiwi Transient Nuclear Test (Kiwi-TNT) was a controlled excursion in which reactivity was inserted into a nuclear rocket engine prototype fast enough to vaporize a significant portion of the reactor core. The test studied the neutronic behavior of the reactor and the environmental effects of the radioactive materials released. This report discusses in detail only the determination of environmental effects.
The test was conducted at the Nuclear Rocket Development Station. Jackass Flats, Nevada, on January 12, 1965, at 1058 PST. The Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory collected environmental data from the test point to approximately 50 miles down wind. The U.S. Public Health Service monitored the neighborhood and collected milk samples in southern Nevada and California to beyond 200 miles downwind. The course of the effluent cloud was tracked by aircraft from the U. S. Public Health Service and EG&G.
From 5 to 20% of the reactor core was vaporized, with approximately 67% of the products from about 3 x 1020 (10 to the 20th power – Ed.) fissions released to the effluent cloud. Radiation effects from the cloud passage were less than predicted in the pretest safety evaluation report. The maximum off- site, integrated, whole-body exposure was 5.7 mrad about 15 miles from the test point. No fresh fission products were detected in any of the milk samples.
The Los Alamos National Laboratory of the University of California report “Environmental Effects of the Kiwi-TNT Effluent”, a 73-page pdf file, provides more information about how far the radioactive plume stretched.
In March of 2012, EnergyNews reported “Los Angeles-area Meltdown: Cesium-137 still up to 1,000 times higher than standard – Plutonium also detected – Located between Chatsworth and Simi Valley.”
In August of 2011, EnergyNews published information about a 1959 nuclear incident, “US nuke commission ‘essentially lied’ about one of worst nuclear disasters in history near Los Angeles, up to 240 times Three Mile Island — 13 fuel rods melted with no containment.”

In December of 2011, EnergyNews reported “Erin Brockovich taking on nuke industry: ‘Massive amounts of cancer in hometown near L.A.—Astounded by rare, rare cancers among youth.”
Aside from the above, what we currently don’t know is what’s going on with radiation still spewing from Fukushima’s nuclear disaster of March 2011 [1]. How is Fukushima affecting West Coast residents, their food and water, the waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean, fish and sea creatures? Furthermore, is there an international effort in helping with the cleanup, and if not, why not?
In June of 2015, EnergyNews published Kevin Kamps “Beyond Nuclear,” stating this:
“A recent revelation of Nuclear Regulatory Commission internal emails… reveal that there was concern at the highest levels of the U.S. government, and rightly so, about the radioactive iodine-131 escaping from Fukushima Dai-ichi… and reaching the United States… Rainwater at 242 times safe drinking water act permissible levels— so you better believe we got radioactive iodine-131 in the United States.”

That interview nails down that it’s apparent we really can’t trust state and federal government transparency.
Now, may I respectfully offer that readers ought to consider that lies, false and withheld information are standard operating procedures rendered about nuclear accidents, nuclear power emissions and radioactivity in order to keep nuclear energy ‘attractive’? Exelon, the largest nuclear power generator in the USA, was a generous financial supporter to get Barack Hussein Obama elected president. No wonder President Obama supports and promotes building more nuclear power plants [2,3].
Can falsehoods be manufactured about other issues for control strategies, especially about vaccines, cell phones, Wi-Fi, smart meters, and numerous other vested-interest, proprietary products or services? What do you think?
So why, then, is it that we trust the media and the puppeteers who pull their strings? Shouldn’t citizens everywhere expect—plus receive—actual facts regarding current events and issues that affect our lives, and not have to wait 20 to 50 years to know what really happened? It’s called transparency.

I hope most readers really want to know. Therefore, we have to become intelligent “hands-on” activists to get what we need to identify what affects our lives—and we absolutely are entitled to in a democracy—since we pay the ‘freight’ by the taxes government levies on us. Unfortunately, government doesn’t consider it that way.
