Jim Carrey Amps Up Vaccine Twitter Talk, Makes Enemies With Media
Jim Carrey is not one to hold back…ever. Last year, he made audiences at a graduation speech laugh while making bleak, dead-pan jabs at Monsanto and GMOs.
This time, he zeros in on California legislation and admonishes Governor Jerry Brown for signing SB277 – the bill that removed virtually all vaccine exemptions for students. When he called the Governor’s decision that of a “corporate fascist” – heads exploded.
Carrey asks for rights, safer vaccines and tells his 14.7 million Twitter followers to watch the documentary Trace Amounts. For this, the media is already calling him crazy and trying to push him the way of his former companion Jenny McCarthy (below).
Writer Jefferey Jaxen compiled the previous Tweets in picture format, for his article on Carrey’s continuous efforts toward parental rights in California.
But Carrey is still at it…

I repeat! I AM PRO-VACCINE/ANTI-NEUROTOXIN, as is Robert Kennedy Jr. Please read the following article and book http://t.co/GTr9lReaXO

While Carrey is making reasonable requests, the mainstream corporate news media does not think so. They wasted no time in trying to paint him as a loon, with inflammatory language. You may recall those red flags from the four top ways Big Pharma astroturfs and uses the media for manipulation. They literally own the media through sponsorship and own the Senators and Assembly members responsible for passing this forced vaccine bill. Senator Dr. Richard Pan was the top recipient of Big Pharma cash, and who were the other giftees? Members of the Assembly or Senate health committees…
What else do you call this revocation of parental and medical rights but “corporate fascism”?
Now, in a concerted effort, the big news dogs are going after Jim Carrey and Google is letting them have the main floor.
This was a search for “Jim Carrey” – apparently opinions on Twitter constitute a “descent into madness.”
Furthermore, Jaxen has noticed that Time, Huffington Post, USA Today, VICE, Rolling Stone, Washington Post, Slate and People have put out Jim Carrey hit-pieces since yesterday. They dismiss his points and ruin true discourse by their sponsored accusations.
Carrey follows on the footsteps of other celebrity parents who stepped up to bat for other Californian parental rights during the SB277 debacle that ensued after last December’s measles outbreak. Jenna Elfman, who appreciates vaccination, went to fight the bill to protect the future right of parents to choose which vaccines to use and be able to schedule them out. Even though she vaccinates she had empathy and forethought – there are an estimated 200+ vaccines waiting in the wings of commercialization.
Just like other celebrities – and other human beings – entertainers like Carrey and Elfman have every right to have a voice and better others outside of Hollywood. Why the viciousness and scoffing in the attacks – especially if vaccination is so “undeniably” wonderful?
