Communicators & Changemakers; Eric, Arthur, Stephen, Andrew, & More: EMF/RF/5G Father’s Day Stories
Earlier in the week we reviewed the work of Paul Brodeur back in the 1970s, before the age of the internet, YouTube, and downloadable PDFs.
Unfortunately, if Paul Brodeur were writing today about the risks of asbestos, powerlines, and EMFs, it is possible that the public would never see his work, due to the demise of investigative journalism by mainstream media, control by corporations; and censorship.
Fortunately, there are many skilled, competent, earnest individuals offering tools to the public so that they can be better informed about the wireless issue. The work of these generous individuals is never included in Google Alerts (that report the plot line from the TV show Better Call Saul as EHS “news”).

Their insights and contributions will not appear in mainstream news that is juxtaposed with 5G cellphone ads. As Ray Pealer noted, “The information is not so easy to get to.” These individuals and groups deserve recognition for the Herculean effort that they make, to serve the greater good, at a time when recognizing and speaking the truth is a revolutionary act.
CALIFORNIA Eric Windheim is a highly respected EMF consultant. His website notes,
I decided to become a certified Building Biology Ecology Consultant (BBEC) and Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist (EMRS) for many compelling reasons that all pointed in the same direction. In 2008 I was involved in electrical power quality and how it affected the longevity of computers and other electrical equipment. That lead to my realization that the human body is a living biological masterpiece of 70 trillion cells with its subtle Electrochemical communication and management system, and it too was drastically affected by electric and magnetic fields (EMFs). The body’s cells can’t hear their own distinct but very low power electric signals when they are overpowered by man-made EMF, and furthermore, the body has no defense mechanism against EMF pollution. Unlike biological pathogens, genetic mutations, or chemical toxins, for which the human body has defense, repair systems, and filtration, it has no defense against EMF and is overwhelmed, damaged beyond repair, or destroyed. EMF toxins can kill you or shorten your life at the least. It is only a matter of time and exposure level to see what type of damage will manifest itself along the way and who it will injure first. My father was a senior vice president of a top ten architectural engineering firm and he designed and built his second dream home in 1965 that he and my mother lived in until sickness and death drove them out. When my mother, who never smoked or drank, died of recurrent cancer in 2010, and my father suddenly suffered greatly as well, I assessed their house for EMF toxicity. The level of dirty electricity was 196 times over the danger limit and the magnetic fields were 2.4 times above the Extreme Concern level. If I had only known in advance, this could have been avoided. My father made an instant but partial recovery once we got him out of the house.

NEW MEXICO Arthur Firstenberg the author of The Invisible Rainbow, a History of Electricity and Life, as well as many other articles and books, was a National Merit Scholar that graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University earning a bachelor’s degree in 1971, with a major in mathematics, a minor in physics; and With Distinction In All Subjects. He also won a Westinghouse scholarship award for laboratory research in electrophysiology at Downstate Medical Center, State University, NY where he was a research fellow from 1966 through 1969. He attended University of California, Irvine School of Medicine from 1978 to 1982 when injury by X-ray overdose cut short his medical career. He founded the Cellular Phone Task Force in 1996 in response to the health and environmental threats posed by the launch of the wireless revolution in the United States. NORTH CAROLINA Andrew McAfee of Home EMF Tracing shifted careers in response to becoming electrically sensitive. He now teaches, writes, and conducts EMF/RF investigations. His website explains, “What can be really causing chronic stress and inflammation.” All homes should be wired using grounded Metal Clad (MC) cable to contain electric fields. He provides numerous solutions in his Killing Current book series.
He believes the most harmful source is contact current, literally current flowing through us. Stopping current also removes magnetic fields and dirty electricity. Grounding systems are never supposed to carry current, but they do, all the time. Power companies, to save money on their transformers, lobbied for the electrical Code to require that the neutral wire (return current wire) be connected to the earth at our main breaker, and at every transformer. This multigrounded neutral system contaminates the entire earth ecosystem with current. Current Flow Whack-A-Mole shows this and reveals the startling contact current information from EPRI. Other sources? Grounded shielding paint, well and sump pumps. Loops on HVAC/Furnaces, gas and water bonds, and bonds between the Service panel and subpanel and in house trailers with appliances screwed to the frame. Variable Frequency Drives and appliances often leak current onto equipment grounding conductors. Solution? Andrew’s Recommendation: Watch for the NCB (Nuisance Current Blocker), a patent pending, NEC 250.6 code compliant device, undergoing UL certification, blocks current on grounding conductors but provides an effective ground fault path to trip the breaker. RHODE ISLAND: Stephen Dahl read an article in 2005 in Columns magazine about Dr. Henry Lai, who had been blacklisted for finding DNA breaks from Motorola cellphones. Hmmm, he thought. But he did a quick Google search, and apparently it was all okay. But his perspective eventually changed when a baby daughter arrived. As a stay-at-home dad in 2009, he read a letter from the American Academy of Pediatrics advising the FCC to update its wireless standards because children aren’t little adults and can be affected by radiofrequency radiation (RFR) disproportionately. So, guided by the Precautionary Principle, he turned off his cell phone, hardwired the home computer, and switched in landline phones to replace cordless ones. In 2016, while working 20 hours per week at the public library, he became ill with insomnia, heart palpitations, stomach cramps, headaches, brain fog, memory problems, dyslexia, irritability, pressure at the back of his eyes, and other problems. He realized he’d been working ten feet from the whole-library Wi-Fi transmitter, and that these symptoms were work related and improved at home, especially when he didn’t work that day.
