To Reduce Plastic Use This Man From India Is Making Bamboo Water Bottles

In the recent fight against plastics, an Assamese innovator has brought forth bamboo bottles, which are not only eco-friendly but also leak-proof.
It has been quite some time that we have been concentrating on reducing the usage of plastics. For these, we have brought out sustainable products, eco-friendly alternatives that have cut it down to a great degree. But, there doesn’t seem to be any usable alternative to plastic bottles. Well, until this Assamese man decided to bring this marvel out.

Dhritiman Bora, the founder, discovered that most rules didn’t suit the middle-class when it came to banning plastic bottles. Hence his creation, which is not only completely biodegradable, but also completely eco-friendly, and light-weight. It also has a cork at the top.

These bottles are sold in the market at around Rs. 400- Rs. 600, and come in multiple sizes and shapes. Mr. Bora, an IIT alumnus, has thought of completely revolutionizing the bottle industry, by replacing plastic bottles with bamboo and jute products. Interestingly, they make for a cool drink, in the scorching summers.

It would be a great thing if this invention gets popularity so that the dream of a plastic-free state can be achieved. We all need to contribute to such noble causes.
