Are Salmon Dying from Hot Water in Northwestern Rivers, Or Could It Be Something Else?
“Thirteen species of salmon and steelhead are listed as endangered or threatened in the Columbia River basin.” [6]
That wonderfully healthful fish known for its precious fatty acids, salmon, is endangered by the very waters in which thousands return to spawn and produce future salmon fingerlings.
Here’s an article that talks about the ecological imbalance of the Columbia River, especially water temperature, which is reducing greatly the number of salmon, an apparently long-held dietary staple of the Northwest, including for Grizzly bears.

The hot water may be only half of the story, I suggest, and possibly the “fall guy” for what’s happening. Realistically and undoubtedly, there’s more than what meets the eye and what we are being told about both the salmon’s problem and the weather. For instance, weather geoengineering, atmospheric engineering, and weather manipulation, also colloquially known as chemtrails.
We know from all sorts of NOAA’s maps that something is going on with the weather. We also know that much of the West Coast of the USA has been in a drought, California in particular, for going on four years now. Many of the western states literally are burning. The Washington Post highlighted Alaska’s weather problems with this story “As Alaska burns, Anchorage sets new records for heat and lack of snow.” Alaska is setting all sorts of weather records in 2015 [1]. See the map The WP supplied in that article.
Chemtrails, those sky trails most people think are jet contrails, which they are not, lay down artificial clouds that are intended to keep sunlight from reaching the planet. Currently, close to 25 percent—maybe more—of sunlight does not reach us. The implications for plant and human life due to lack of sunlight can be catastrophic. Photosynthesis in plants is interrupted by lack of sunlight, which can result in lack of food production globally. That eventually can lead to global famine! Ever think of that?
The other problem with lack of sunlight is that the solar power industry may go down to the tubes. Is that something that the fossil fuel or nuclear power industries would relish, i.e., a lack of competitive energy production? especially now that the Smart Grid is being implemented across the USA.
Besides the above issues with man-made clouds, chemtrails are serious sources of pollution and contamination by toxic minerals and chemicals, as proven by rain water assays performed in California. Here’s a website that lists what’s been documented in California rain water.
Then there’s the base material for chemtrails, coal fly ash, which this short video explains.
The eastern Pacific Ocean and west coast of North America, especially the USA, have an inordinate aerial spray campaign going on for many years now. All that toxic pollution falls out of the sky to land on the earth and in streams, ponds, lakes, rivers and the ocean affecting all of creation with negative impact that no one at either state or federal governments wants to address. Why? Where’s the media on this story?
Are the salmon in the Columbia River basin comparable to the “canary in the coal mines” except that they are in water? Remarkably, canaries were taken into coal mines to let the miners know that toxic gases were building up and to get out when they saw a canary dead! Isn’t it interesting, or even challenging, that coal being mined, and/or coal that was burned to produce electricity, gives off toxins that kill life forms!
Has anyone considered testing the Columbia River water for conditions other than temperature, e.g., toxic mineral and chemical pollutants, which could be affecting the salmon? Probably not, since water temperature just may be a convenient “fall guy” theory to hang a scientific hat on, and not weather geoengineering—the scientific ‘pig in a poke’, if there ever was one!
There’s another factor that can be impacting not only salmon but all fish, seafood and aquatic life; it’s Fukushima radiation that’s been saturating the Pacific Northwest since shortly after the ‘accident’ in 2011. According to research in 2013 [2], the West Coast was being fried with nuclear radiation from Fukushima. Radioactive water from Fukushima was found earlier in 2015 off British Columbia, Canada, which is north of the Columbia River basin area [3]. Cesium134 and cesium137 isotopes were found in sea water! Those elements are “man-made,” not Nature-made! Regarding strontium90 in seafood, maybe readers would like to read this article.
In Vancouver, British Columbia, fishermen were reporting “thick blankets of green slime” being pulled up in their nets while the Skeena River sockeye were unusually absent. The Department of Fisheries and Oceans determined the “goo” to be phytoplankton. The DFO credited the decrease in the sockeye “run” to the increased phytoplankton. The low sockeye population has resulted in fishing bans on several Vancouver Island rivers. While University of BC biologist Tony Farrell believes warm water is changing the food chain, one cannot rule out the possibility of radiation from Fukushima that has entered the ocean and landed on the coast.
The State of Oregon’s Department of Fish and Wildlife announced an unprecedented, first ever emergency fishing closures statewide due to salmon appearing to be infected with a gill rot disease. NOAA fisheries biologist Paul Wagner called it “alarming,” a “head scratcher” and associated the “die-off” to the disease. ODFW claims, “This is a pretty extreme set of conditions.”
A mysterious die-off of whales continues to occur in the Pacific Ocean. In 2013, Ivan Macfadyen declared the seas near Japan dead as he sailed through the waters. Researchers expressed concern over radioactive material “bio-accumulating in fish and marine animals.” Seeing as the Fukushima disaster remains uncontained and out of control after four years, bio-accumulation in fish and marine animals grow as contaminated water pours into the Pacific from Fukushima.

Regardless of what’s being sold to consumers as a “bill of goods” concerning fish and seafood, maybe someone should blow the whistle on what’s really in fish coming out of the Pacific Ocean and the Northwestern waters of the USA. There have been massive die-offs of starfish on Pacific Coast, which is being blamed on wasting disease. In 2014, an individual posted an informative article about Fukushima radiation in North American seafood [4].
As a result of what we are learning about the salmon and starfish, maybe consumers ought to rethink gastronomic delights such as sushi, sashimi, Pacific Ocean sea food: clams, crabs, mussels, oysters, etc., and fish, since Bluefin tuna has been found to contain radioactive cesium [5] in “under safe levels” as far back as 2011. It’s now 2015, and more of Fukushima has gone into the Pacific Ocean.
Maybe we ought to ask, “What are the salmon telling us?” Maybe we have to wake up; look up; and act up to stop the ever increasing destruction of beautiful Planet Earth.
