The planet Saturn is so far from Earth that we’ve grown up with the same 2-dimensional view of Saturn as the “one with rings.” These awe-inspiring photos will change all that.
The Cassini voyage took 13 years to complete its travels around Saturn.
Good News Network reports:
The craft, which was launched in October 1997, took seven years to travel all the way to the ringed planet. It then transmitted priceless photos and information back to Earth with data that has been essential to space exploration and planetary studies.began its final mission around Saturn in April: the completion of 22 dives between the planet and its rings.
