A new movie about an emergency nurse’s plight to heal patients with vitamin B12 made it to select theaters and is now available online. In fact, the movie events are selling out.

Awareness met entertainment when director Elissa Leonard first picked up a copy of Could It Be B12? An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses. She was suddenly aflame to bring the triumph of vitamin B12 and its crusader to life on the big screens.

Sally Pacholok is the new film biopic based on the life of the book’s author and the obstacles she faced while trying to blow the whistle on B12 deficiency. It dramatizes the real-life struggle to act and heal in the current medical establishment.

The real-life Sally Pacholok was known by her colleagues as “Sally B12” and is sometimes called the “Erin Brockovich” of vitamin B12. She herself was diagnosed with hereditary pernicious anemia at age 19, which is only one of the things that leads to a clear vitamin B12 deficiency.

The preview below reveals that she did her research papers on vitamin B12 in nursing school. It shows extremely ill patients who Sally tries to help, including a suicidal patient – hinting that a mere deficiency could be lurking behind what are normally considered psychiatric issues. An unseen deficiency can also lead to dementia, MS, Alzheimer’s, blood issues, memory loss, mental health problems, depression, vision loss, nerve problems and so much more. It can be exacerbated or caused by auto-immune disease, thyroid conditions and much more.
